After the debut of the KONA 17 Sport RIB with Torqeedo’s Deep Blue 40 hp system, the electric outboard manufacturer and craft designer Team Scarab take it to the next level. The KONA 17 is known as the first serial produced electric sport boat to achieve 38+ mph with a 66 kW peak electric motor, while Deep Blue delivers 80 hp with two of Torqeedo’s 13 kW lithium ion batteries.
